In 1998 Dormed Hellas is founded. Credibility and respect of doctors’ needs in the difficult and demanding field of ultrasound imaging is set as the main axis and vision of the company.
1988
The company is founded with the trade name Dormed Hellas S.A.
2000
The company sets up a strong presence with a well-organised branch in Athens.
2005
It is officially authorised as sales and repair representative for General Electric in Northern Greece.
2007
It signs a contract with Japanese ALOKA c.o. A pioneer in ultrasound system manufacturing since 1961.
2014
After ALOKA c.o. was bought out by HITACHI, DORMED HELLAS S.A. was appointed as the exclusive representative of the two companies in Greece..
2016
It specialises in the refurbishment of ultrasound machines and founds a special export department that is active in more than 12 countries with 180 partners around the world.
2017
It organises a special Printed Circuit Board and imaging probe department that is used by more than 15 countries, which send their medical ultrasound imaging equipment for inspection and repair.
2019
The company signs an exclusive partnership memorandum with corresponding companies in other European countries, its main object being repairing their faults in Greece.
2019 until Today
- The company has more than 30 specialised staff members, 12 of whom hold degrees in Electronic Engineering, and who have many years of experience in the medical machinery sector.
- It repairs more than 180 probes and covers more than 3000 types of malfunction.
- It is active in all European countries and has increased its presence in the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Turkey, and Canada.
- It is considered the largest healthy commercial company in the Balkan market and holds 3rd position in sales in Europe.
